The Narnia Awards

Back in February, I volunteered as part of the steward team to help produce an event called 'The Narnia Experience'. This 'experience' was a tour of Narnia and also the outside of the wardrobe and even though it was 90 minutes long, it was very entertaining and continuously interesting for the adults and children. It took place in St George's Hall in Liverpool and spanned over two weeks with many children, both in school groups and in family groups, as well as many adults, in families or just with friends and there were many rave reviews afterwards in our comment book. It was an excellent event which both the visitors and the staff enjoyed thoroughly. It was held by a charity called In Another Place and I was informed by it through my Church and am so pleased that I agreed to it because it was something which I will never forget.

In addition to the actual event, there was an awards night named 'The Narnia Awards' which included awards for funniest poses for different things, from shocked to scary, or even a combination of both. It was a fantastic night and everybody looked beautiful and amazing! We also paid tribute to a lovely man called Jimmy who recently passed away and that was a very nice touch too.
A wonderful night with wonderful people!
