Argentinian Restaurant

I always like to try new things, whether they be activities like Zumba or eating/drinking new delicacies or international flavours such as a Margarita in a Mexican restaurant in Canmore, Canada. I recently went to Birmingham for a conference in order to obtain a visa to emigrate to Canada to be with my beautiful girlfriend and to start a life together. As I was walking to the conference from the hotel which I was staying in, I came across a little Argentinian restaurant. Now, I am a huge fan of Argentina, especially with my desire to one day visit there and watch a Rosario Central match. Seeing this place, I knew where I was going to eat my evening meal. It was a place called Fiesta Del Asado and the food was delicious. In addition, the waiter was from Spain and so we were able to converse in Spanish. Happy Days! A true delight to enjoy some food from Argentina, see the art around the location, and have the joy of speaking Spanish in Birmingham, something I never knew I was going to be able to say one day. I recommend this restaurant to anybody interested in trying new things and food from Argentina. Qué fantástico!

Are You Looking At Me?

There are some things in life which make you smile, laugh, cry or all of these emotions. I personally love seeing things which look like other things, like clouds which look like creatures or people for example. I recently saw a piece of apparatus which looked like a face in my opinion. What do you think?

Wimpy Napkin Post, First for a While

It has been a while since my last post about a napkin from a lovely, little restaurant called Wimpy. Here is another cool napkin from this place. Again, I would recommend going there and trying a Wimpy burger or any of the food there which is delicious. Enjoy the awesome writing!

The Walk

I recently took my car in for a service and the place I go to is in a small town called Ainsdale. I found out that the whole service would take about 6 hours, from 9-3 more or less, so after a little deliberation in my mind, I thought it would be a good idea to walk to Southport, which ended up taking me an hour. Now for anyone who has yet to walk from Ainsdale to Southport and back, walking shoes are recommended and it is a very pleasant and enjoyable walk, though my feet were sore for a few days afterwards. However, as the saying goes, 'No pain, no gain', and I certainly felt the benefits because I feel fitter and better for doing the walk now. In addition, I took a few photos, well quite a few to be honest (sorry for the vast amount), on the way back so here they are. Enjoy, I hope!
